Phrases that Help In Moments of Crisis

Wednesday wandering: on my walk this morning, my mind was wandering through the back catalogue of wonderful teachers that have imprinted on me. Their collective wisdom guides my behaviour when I am feeling stuck or overwhelmed in a moment – and often translates beyond the context in which it was originally purposed. Some of my favourites that I find myself drawing on most regularly include: “feel the back of the chair”; “bend don’t break”; and “hold it lightly”.
